OPEN AGAIN / How Precision Eye Care will help keep you safe during your visit
Your health and safety is our top priority. In accordance with COVID-19 federal and state regulations, Precision Eye Care has made adjustments to patient care.
We are very excited to be able to once again provide routine eye care for our patients! The safety of our patients and staff is a top priority, and we are following the recommendations and guidelines from the CDC, Kentucky Board of Optometry, and the Kentucky Optometric Association. Here is a quick update of what we have set in place to keep you safe:
** Our staff has personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks and gloves, and every patient is expected to wear a mask. Each doctor has reduced the number of patients scheduled per day, but hope to safely increase the number of appointments scheduled over the next few weeks.
** In order to decrease exposure to others, our front doors will be locked. When you arrive, please call us to check in. If you are arriving for an appointment, please do not bring additional people with you to your exam.
** We will ask you a few questions over the phone, assuring that you are not exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, and then have you wait in your car rather than our waiting room. Upon entering our office, your temperature will be checked. You will then be escorted to an exam room. Our doctors and staff will work quickly and efficiently to reduce risks.
** In our optical, we ask that you refrain from handling frames without assistance from a staff member. Each frame will be cleaned before being placed back on the frame board.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, we respectfully request that you reschedule your appointment. If you have any questions, please call our office at (270) 781-3937. We are looking forward to taking care of you and your family!
We hope that you and your family stay safe and healthy during this time.
